Hicks’ successful projects include the Verizon Long Distance Billing adjudication system, wherein Hicks’ reengineering leadership cut the processing of 600 million billing records from 28 days to 1.5 days, and a Forecast-Based Store Replenishment System for HEB Grocery which cut their costs in excess of $30 MM per year on $9 B of goods ordered by decreasing Out-of-Stocks while significantly lowering store inventory.

Prior to joining Imagine Solutions, Hicks founded and built four high-growth technology service companies including Virtual Solutions Inc., Mango Network LLC., Synergy Teaming Solutions LLC, and Heartland Systems Inc. His extensive executive experience in growth financing, operations, consultative sales and delivery resulted in ownership investment by Informix Software and two financially-successful exits.

Hicks’ business acumen and entrepreneurial leadership has earned several industry accolades including recognition as a Dallas FastTech 50 winner for three consecutive years (1995, 1996, and 1997).

With a background in engineering from the University of Kansas, Hicks is also a lifetime-learner.
