ECM begins with digital content, and Encapture^® enables the capture and indexing of content across virtually any ingestion scenario:

• Transactional Capture: making capture a more integrated part of how you interact with customers and partners. With Encapture^®'s new wizard-based features, document requests and capture processes can be launched directly out of your business applications. These wizards are context-sensitive – requesting only the documents a specific transaction requires – and ensure that system-of-record index information is accurately associated with those captured images.
  
  Encapture^® now also includes a web-based document request capability that for a given transaction – for example, documentation requirements for a mortgage application – creates a unique URL that is emailed to a customer. When the customer clicks on that URL, they are linked to a secure site and are guided step-by-step through home-based capture of all required documents. No more emailing of sensitive personal information. No more unnecessary courier expenses or branch visits.
• Ad Hoc Capture: capturing content where you first touch it. Encapture^® offers a comprehensive selection of capture clients – supporting hundreds of multi-function and scanning devices as well as Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Office integration – to provide your distributed office workers and your central operations staff a single tool for bringing digital content into your business. We also provide a highly flexible web client that supports capture through virtually any TWAIN-compatible device.
• Unattended Capture: bringing better visibility and control to background capture processes. Encapture^® can be configured to monitor specified email servers, fax servers, and file system folders with initial indexing and routing based on rules you specify.
